A small and independent secretariat is based at The Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York. The secretariat is the hub and coordinating center for the worldwide network of experts and advisers based in universities, think-tanks and research institutions. Given the complexity of this project, the secretariat is a managerial and substantive necessity to ensure quality and coherence across the many activities of the project. The project also maintains a liaison office in Geneva, located within the Library of the Palais des Nations.
