Economics, University of Cambridge; Dean and Fellow of Selwyn College.
He moved to the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex and to
the OECD in Paris before assuming his present post as a Principal
Economist in the International Economics Department of the World
Bank. He has been in the Bank for 12 years. He spent 5 years as
Principal Economist in the East Asia Department. He currently heads
up the Statistical Advisory Services section of the Bank.
